The wonderful story of Søstrene Grene starts in the late summer of 1973 in Aarhus, Denmark, in a house with room for creativity and innovative ideas. It is the story of two older sisters, Anna and Clara Grene, who do their utmost to make everyday life a little different and more beautiful. That is why the sisters have set up a chain of shops in which a special atmosphere predominates. When walk into one of their shops, you should feel as though you are entering an oasis, where you can leave the hectic everyday life behind for a while. They develop new designs with passion and inspiration for their product categories, such as interior design, stationery, gift paper, crafts, kitchenware and toys. Every week countless new products arrive in the shops, and many of them are only available for a short time. “Variety is the spice of life,” Anna always says, although some items do remain in the range permanently. Søstrene Grene is in every respect based on strong family values and customers can fully trust the products in the shops. Welcome to the wonderful world of Anna and Clara.
